Prishtina, September 06 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today a delegation of MPs of the Croatian Parliament, accompanied by the Croatian Ambassador, Marija Kapitanovic.
President Thaçi thanked the Croatian MPs for their visit to Kosovo, thanking them for the support Croatia has given to Kosovo on a continuous basis.
“I appreciate the historic friendship with Croatia. We are grateful for the support Croatia gives to Kosovo in every forum”, stressed the President.
On the other hand, the Croatian Ambassador, Marija Kapitanovic, said that Kosovo and Croatia have many bridges linking them, the most valuable being the respective communities, the Albanian one in Croatia and the Croatian one in Kosovo.
In the end, President Thaçi has emphasized that he will be committed to the advancement of the representation of the Croatian community in the institutions of Kosovo.
