Prishtina, July 4th – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today at a meeting the Ambassador of Sweden, Henrik Nilsson.
President Thaçi thanked Ambassador Nilsson for his engagement during his tenure in strengthening of bilateral relations between the two states.
“Sweden has always supported Kosovo, especially during its state building periods well as in strengthening of Kosovo’s international subjectivity”, said the President.
Swedish Ambassador, Henrik Nilsson, thanked President Thaçi for the cooperation, and said that he will always remain a friend of Kosovo.
“Sweden supports Kosovo’s European future, and the European future of the whole region”, said Ambassador Nilsson.
President Thaçi expressed his pleasure with the fact that it was during Ambassador Nilsson’s tenure that Sweden raised its level of representation to Embassy, and wished him all the best in his future engagements.
