Prishtina, November 29, 2017 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today the new KFOR Commander, General Salvatore Cuoci.
President Thaçi welcomed General Salvatore Cuoci to Kosovo, wishing him good luck on his new assignment.
He said that KFOR is continuing to do a wonderful job in Kosovo.
“Thanks to the work and dedication, already proven for nearly two decades, KFOR enjoys the greatest trust of our citizens and is at the forefront of campaigns to raise awareness for peace, interfaith harmony, tolerance and civic coexistence”, said President Thaçi.
Whereas, the new Commander of KFOR, Salvatore Cuoci, said he will remain dedicated to a peaceful, free, secure environment for all citizens of Kosovo.
President Thaçi has said that KFOR is performing a noble mission in Kosovo and assured the new KFOR Commander for the continued support of Kosovo’s institutions.
