President Thaçi received the credentials from the new Ambassador of Finland

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi received the credentials from the new Ambassador of Finland, Pia Stjernvall.

President Thaçi congratulated her on the new assignment, offering her full support in exercising the post of Ambassador in Kosovo.

“We will always be grateful for the support that Finland has given to Kosovo in all periods, since the declaration of independence to the state-building and the strengthening of the international subjectivity”, stressed the President.

President Thaçi offered Ambassador Stjernvall support in strengthening the bilateral cooperation between the two states.

On the other hand, the new Ambassador of Finland, Pia Stjernvall, has said that Finland will continue the support for Kosovo.

In the end, President Thaçi thanked the Ambassador for the recognition Finland has made for Kosovo, thus contributing to peace and stability in the Balkans and Europe.
