President Thaçi honors the British martyrs, pays tribute at their memorial

Prishtina, November 12, 2017 - The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, as a sign of honor to the British martyrs, today, on the Memorial Day of the United Kingdom paid tribute at the British Remembrance Memorial on the “Edith Durham” square in Prishtina.

He has said that he bows before the sacrifice of all those who gave everything for our freedom.

“Today, Kosovo honors all those British women and men who gave their lives serving peace, stability, understanding, tolerance and humanitarian missions in Kosovo”, said President Thaçi.

The Head of State has said that Kosovo, its institutions and its people will always be grateful to the UK for their continued support and will always honor the sacrifice of these British men and women, as well as the extraordinary commitment in the support of Kosovo, in the support of peace and stability for the whole Western Balkans region.
