President Thaçi accepted the credentials of the new Ambassador of Slovenia

Prishtina, September 07 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received the credentials from Slovenia’s new Ambassador, Bojan Bertoncelj.

President Thaçi congratulated him on the new assignment, offering him full support in the post of Ambassador of Slovenia to Kosovo.

In this meeting there was discussed about the further strengthening of the bilateral cooperation and exchanges between the two states.

“We are grateful for the support Slovenia has given to Kosovo in all fields, especially in the integration processes of Kosovo”, stressed the President.

President Thaçi has said that Slovenia is a very good model of the road that the other countries in the region should pursue to be integrated into the EU and NATO.

On the other hand, the Slovenian Ambassador, Bojan Bertoncelj, has said that his state will continue to cultivate good relations with Kosovo, supporting it on its Euro-Atlantic path.
