Prishtina, May 7th, 2018 – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, awarded to day the Presidential medal of the Tenth Independence Anniversary, famous Kosovar tenor singer, Ramë Lahaj.
President Thaçi stated that Ramë Lahaj, through the art of music, is excelling at music scenes worldwide, and is affirming the name of Kosovo in a very dignified manner.
“Kosovo has many talented individuals, many professionals who through their determinations are reaching the pinnacles of success in the international arena”, added President Thaçi.
On the other hand, Ramë Lahaj said that he is exceptionally honoured by President Thaçi’s award.
“I feel honoured, as many deserving individuals have received this award on the tenth independence anniversary”, said tenor Lahaj.
President Thaçi and Ramë Lahaj also discussed the opportunities and difficulties which life abroad presents to the fulfilment of a professional career.
