Prishtina, October 11 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi received today in a meeting the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Timo Soini, with whom he discussed about the possibility of deepening the bilateral relations between the two countries.
President Thaçi highly praised the support that Finland has given to Kosovo and requested that the cooperation to be deepened.
“We are grateful for the continued support for Kosovo. Let us look at the opportunities to deepen cooperation in economy, security and education as well”, stated President Thaçi.
On the other hand, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Timo Soini has pledged that Finland will continue to support Kosovo in all areas.
“Kosovo is determined for its Euro-Atlantic future”, said President Thaçi, adding that “Kosovo today is a factor of stability and peace in the region and beyond”.
